I have been trained in Fetal Medicine at Bangalore Fetal Medicine Centre (BFMC) with Dr Prathima Radhakrishnan for 2 years. I have obtained my certificates of competency in nuchal translucency scanning (NT scan), 18 – 23 weeks anomaly scanning, invasive procedures and cervical screening from Fetal Medicine Foundation, UK.
During my fellowship at BFMC, I have witnessed, diagnosed and learnt the management of diverse fetal conditions, fetal abnormalities (lethal and non-lethal), rhesus disease, fetal thrombocytopenia, multiple pregnancy and their complications etc.
I have been part of national and international conferences where I have done paper presentation as well. At the 16thFMFWorld Congress, I had poster presentation.
I am actively involved in the academics and continued medical education programmes.
I have obtained my postgraduation diploma from Govt medical college and DNB from tertiary level institute.
I had been practicing Obstetrics and Gynaecology for more than a decade.That sound background makes me think and work more passionately in the field of fetal of medicine.
